One of my best friends is dealing with severe depression, and alot of abuse, and she wants to end her life, and im really scared. she tried to give me some suicide notes today at school, and said "If im gone, give these to **** and my parents" it made me really scared and really sad, and i just want her to stay with us...

The BEST thing you can do right now is tell her parents...i know you may think that is betraying her trust but it's not. If you had to make the choice of talking to her parents or your friend being ill, which would you choose?
There are good professionals that can help your friend, even direct her to this site. But tell her that you care about her and she is so young and she has so much to live for...and she means the world to you.
Hope you do take my advice hun, can tell you care for your friend very much.

Hi Bill, I am so very sorry to hear about your friend's pain. I know that you can help her get through this. I agree with Moongal, telling her loved ones is the first right step. And continually telling her what a beautiful future she has ahead of her....she needs to keep looking ahead and not living in this tough moment. Therapy is where she needs to be and surrounded by positive, loving and supportive family members. This is very serious and I'd take action immediately. Please let us know how she is doing. I am praying for your friend.
Hey Bill, they're right you must tell someone that can intervene now. If not her parents then you need to reach out to somone else. Not sure who is causing the abuse, but if need be contact the suicide support line in your state... they will be able to tell you what to do next. Your friend should not be by herself right now for any length of time.
