I miss it so much. I haven't had a smoke since January this year. I hate the smell of it now though. But it's slipping into my dreams. I had a dream I needed to buy a pack of smokes for my father for some reason lol. Ugh. "I wantsss the preciousss" -LOTR reference.

CONGRATULATIONS!!! It will soon be a whole YEAR for you!! I am on year #3 and LOVING being a non smoker!! Best gift I have eveer given myself!! This feeling of missing it will pass...just remember how you are saving your lungs and numerous other parts of your body!! So proud of you for quitting!!

Usually dreams don't mean a **** thing. It's hard and you're working it. I hope you're feeling as proud as you should be. It does get easier.

I am proud.. I know it's not easy for people to go cold turkey and that's how I did it. It's suppose to be the most effective way to be smoke free long term. But idk, the whole cold weather season is one big trigger for me. I would love to be outside in the cold with a nice cigarette.. puffing it up.. for no Flippin reason lol. There is no purpose for smoking. But something about it I miss.. bleh. Thanks for the comments. I'm trying.. omg and a cig with a cup of coffee in the cold.. yes. Le sigh.. lol.

@BansheeGal I totally agree that coffee is NOT the same without a cigarette…I cut waaaay back on that too!! Good thing too, I was drinking nearly 3 pots a day!! So glad to hear the pride you feel!! not easy to quit… Keep coming to post when you have these feelings…we will help you thru them!!!

@Better1109 , sighs… your right. It is expensive, maybe evil lol. That is a more funny approach to thinking about it for me. I’ll keep it in mind. Thanks… “dirty, evil, expensive”.

A disgusting filthy habit.
(ex smoker)
Being around the smoke now causes my eyes to water and I almost gag.
However, I can be around marijuana and no problem, except if it is crappy stuff.

@alan321 , wow that’s a powerful reaction to it. I wonder if I’ll ever get that way. I just get disgusted by the smell of igs if someone is puffing it up near me. Yet, from afar… it seems more appealing. lol. Thanks for the comment. It is filthy.
