I only really survive each day by the incredible GIFT of music & hanging out with trees , woods, & Nature. If I am very lucky, I am able to enjoy trees, music AND actually create artwork all at the same time. THAT is when I will entertain the idea I've gone to heaven.
I have always LOVED Fleet Foxes but I can't seem to link this to "Blue Ridge Mountains" vid (in honor of the most amazing brother I lost)...hmm...wonder why I can't link ? (copyrite I guess).
Naah not copyrite, its this wonky website, sometimes they screw up and wont link correctly. Here i posted it for you. https://www.supportgroups.com/depression/httpswwwyoutubecomwatchvl5dusz4djd0-posting-this-for
As far as the woods and nature i feel like that too. I actually have a tree i talk to daily i call it little tree because its still very young. I hang my dogs leashes on it when i let them run free in the field. I always take the time to thank the tree for holding them. I love music too it has saved my life for many many years. It reminds me that everythings not so bad and to remember to look for the beauty in things.
Some people would call me crazy for talking to trees but i call them crazy for not talking to them. Trees enjoy a good conversation as much as the next guy you know? :P
@SympleSylence That is spectacular bc I am & have always been a total TREE HOUND. I don’t care what kind it is I love them all. When you hike thru a dense forest you can just sense how lovely the air is to breathe…recently some channel had a documentary on how trees are actually very intelligent and talk to each other by root systems…I’m like- I KNEW IT! I live in a kinda boring apt but I am so grateful there is a giant, amazing Maple that’s probably 45 yrs old. Just being able to look at it every morn assures me life has happened…one more MORNING. You can’t be depressed near trees!
Least yours is TV episodes mine feels like a bad B budget movie 120 minutes of long drawn out bad dialogue and cheesy special effects. If life was like the movies id definitely be weaing tinfoil underoos and a special Ed cap lol. As far as liking yourself i hope so. For what its worth i like you fine and you seem like a great person.
I like you as well, @littlesis7 . . . you sound like a fascinating, kind, intelligent, and talented person. You and @symplesylence crack me up with your tv / movie analogies.
For the record, I think b budget movies with questionable dialogue and cheesy special effects can be awesome–they’re often the ones that acquire a cult following . . .not that you would want a cult following you, @simplesylence . . . that would be an entirely different movie.
Speaking of tin foil hats, have you seen Amazon Prime’s new The Tick? I highly recommend it!
Hey I’m so sorry for the late reply! Sg had glitched out so badly it kept logging me off and dumping all my content. I never saw proper alerts or notifications. I felt bad that ppl thought I didn’t care.
How are you if you’re still here on Sg? What’s going on in your mh life?
