I recently have more of a habit of removing myself from a situation that I feel is impacting me emotionally than I used to, and to some extent that's really good, because it means I'm less likely to blow up about something, but it's also really bad, because I act like problems aren't problems so that I don't have to face them and feel the way they make me feel. I know I need to find the right balance between the two, but it's easier to just not be part of something that makes me feel any unpleasant emotion. Incidentally, this has become the primary reason for the failure of all of my friendships/relationships.
