I think I may have Graves disease. I have ptosis (droopy eyelids), double and blurry vision, the muscles around my mouth feel weak, my arm and leg muscles are weak, I can't walk on and off, I have general fatigue, all over body pain, brain fog, I get tired easily when I chew food, when I talk I talk quickly and my words seem to all mesh together, my voice also sounds raspy at times. After the research I've done on the internet (which I know isn't a very good source for trying to find out medical stuff), it seems like I could have this disease. If anyone could please throw their opinion out there that would be great thanks!
Well there are so many other autoimmune disease it could be too. Please make a drs. appt. to get tested for this and other ones. It does sound a bit like Graves or a thyroid condition.
@Jennipain I got reffered to a neurologist and I have an appt in a few weeks so hopefully I can figure out what’s wrong. I’m pretty sure I have something autoimmune because every time I’ve gotten blood work done my ANA is always positive and speckled and sed rate is always elevated
This doesn't seem to really reflect many of the symptoms of Graves disease, but they're definitely concerning. See a doctor and request a blood test. If you have a family history of anything make sure they test for it!
@Rfar you’re right I got Myasthenia Gravis and Graves disease mixed up oops
Glad you got that checked out. Best of luck!
