do check in your area for alzheimers support groups. they are spouses, children, friends, caregivers and it helps to talk with people in your position. daddy had alzheimers, it also helps to hear from fellow alzhiemers caregivers the different stages their loved ones are at. this site cant be helpful but nothing like face to face meetings with others in your current circumstances...available for questions or concerns, i can pass on what i learned about daddys condition and his final days as you actually loose the person before their death. very heart breaking
