I want to quit smoking but it's so hard I need help
Ironically that's the problem, it's so hard and that's why we don't want to do it because we know we will have to suffer alot.
I quit years ago. I knew of course that it was going to be straight up h e l l. So I told myself no matter how bad it gets I'm not going to give in. I told myself it was going to be really bad and there was no way around it bit i needed to do it and had to do it. It definitely starts with motivation. Don't fool yourself into thinking there's an easy way out because there isn't. Although I've heard some people say Chantix helps to deal with cravings. I used niccorette gum for a long time among other things that helped but it was still h e l l for the first 3 months then was a little better after 6 months. There's still times I would love to smoke but I'm not going too. So the best thing I would tell anyone is to accept the fact there's no easy way to quit and if you keep waiting for something magical to happen to all the sudden help you quit then you will never never quit!!!! You will be a prisoner to nicotine for the rest of your life, it's an addiction and any addiction is horrible to stop but if you want freedom from it and more life insurance you have to get ready for the h e l l ride and ride the storm put and trust me it's a looooong a s s storm there's no "oh its just for a few weeks then the strong cravings pass" oh now, the reality is it will be an ongoing process for several months and that's just the time it takes to shake the hatd cravings. Good luck!
get addicted to life, then the drugs won't be important anymore.
@missmama wow that’s the realist thing anybody has told me bout it thank you
