I want to start back working out everyday but what's the poi

I want to start back working out everyday but what's the point. Especially when I have no motivation, hope or reason of any kind that makes it worth it. I don't want to have my problems anymore. They aren't going away nor can I cope with them. They control my life.

Exercise is good for stress, mental attitude, health, and so much more. Yeah, sometimes you have to force yourself, but it is worth it. I have found that loving yourself enough makes it worth the effort. If you are not worth the effort and motivation, then what is? The problems we deal with will always be there unfortunately, we find ways to keep going, do we not? I do all kinds of exercise daily, treadmill, elliptical, hiking, walking on the beach. find something you enjoy, you will thank yourself in the long run.

Hi yes i agree I walk alot don’t go to the gym anymore as I’m 70 years old, but that doesn’t make any difference really.

I have been feeling the same. Hard to motivate yourself when you are struggling just to get by. I think you realize the benefits of exercise and might feel them after doing it but it is difficult to get going. The only thing I have been able to do is get up and say I will do blank for five minutes or walk the dogs down the street and then it is easier to increase that time once I get going. I try to think of exercise as any movement I can get like cleaning or gardening then it doesn’t put too much pressure on me to do traditional exercise. I hope you figure something out that works for you.

@Tessers88 is right, start out slow, do something easy and enjoyable. It may help your overall outlook.
