I was freaking out about going to get my meds, but I told myself "Kitty, the longer you wait and obsess, the worse you're making the panic. You may have an attack at the store, but you'll feel better the rest of the day because you won't be thinking about it. Your mission will be accomplished." So I went, I had a bad attack at the pharmacy counter, but as soon as I walked out of the store, meds in hand, I felt better. I even bought myself a boba tea to celebrate.
Looks yummy! Glad you are feeling better.
@MagiaMoonlight Thank you!
I love boba tea :) and good job!!
@aurora15 Thank. I love it too. It’s nice to have a boba cafe right across the street.
@SunnyTomorrow Thank you!
Great job!!!
@Marax002 Thanks. Fighting back is hard but it’s worth doing for my freedom. Agoraphobia held me hostage for 4 years and I was miserable. No more!
Awesome!! Great job!! :)
@codesandkeys Thank you!
@spriterook7 Thank you. I’ve always been a straightforward person. Don’t like to hint or beat around the bush. I’m also an open book. I’m not a very private person. You can ask me anything and I’ll answer.
My room looks better if you see the whole thing. A tall bookshelf filled to the brim, books lined up against the wall that didn’t fit in the bookcase. I have a lot of posters too. Four Doctor Who, one Supernatural, one classic Star Trek, and one Firefly. Oh and a Hufflepuff pride banner because that’s my Hogwarts house. Also, I have it set up so that my television is my computer monitor.
My favorite boba is jasmine milk tea, but I also like the green tea macha.
Awesome! So great to here! Another small victory for you!
@zombiepenguin Thank you!
@spriterook7 Thanks. Yeah, after four years held hostage by agoraphobia I’m fighting back this year, knowing there’s a good chance of a panic attack but knowing I will survive it. And yes, I am a geek. I rarely stray from science fiction and fantasy. I love video games. I play on PC so I can mod them. I love Dungeons and Dragons and Pathfinder. I own my own dice set for that. I love marathoning The X-Files on Netflix. Never get tired of it.
Good Job so proud of you!!!
@Aceland Thank you!
@Shadetree Thank you. My brain knows I’m always safe, but my body tends to disagree.
@CKarma Yeah, I love the stuff. I know they’re just balls of tapioca, but they taste like the tea after sitting in it and are chewable. Sometimes it even works as and appetite suppressant. Belly full of tea and your body knows you were chewing so it thinks it had a meal.
@TennisPlayer Well you can get less sweet ones. Like if you just get milk tea it just tastes like tea, milk and a little sugar, because that’s what it is.
@TennisPlayer I don’t really regroup. I just try to finish the transaction as quickly as possible and then it generally dissipates when I leave the store. As far as boba flavors go, that’s impossible to answer because every cafe has their own unique flavors. There aren’t any chains that serve boba as far as I know.
