Great job! That's awesome! And yes, there is every chance you can walk yourself to better health! I'm a walker too, had no choice I was too heavy to do anything else! But its turned out to be a God send! I'm losing weight and my blood pressure is lowering as I continue to lose, and my doc plans to lower the dosage on my blood pressure medicine. Keep up the great work, walk your way straight to a healthy you! :-)
How's the walking going, riverbends? I hope you're staying motivated. Just figured I'd check in and see how you're doing. Remember you're doing such an awesome job. :) Keep it up!

Your welcome. Weight loss is very hard. I'm 46 years old and the older you get the harder it is.
I have always been turned on b y very fat people, and find that society is so enthalled with weight loss that people automatically assume it is the best thing.
Unfortunately losing weight usually fails and it results in terrible loss of self esteem. The beautiful people is an ideal which only turns on a few people, but it is forced on the population by the mass media thru the acting profession and the medical profession. It is time for obese people to demand respect as human beings.
@kewac01 With all due respect, saying that obese people need to demand respect is like saying alcoholics or smokers need to demand respect. Obesity KILLS! Its no healthier than being an alcoholic or smoker. And as far as demanding respect, anyone that disrespects a person for their size is ignorant and not worth wasting time on. I don’t waste my time or energy on anyone ignorant enough to judge me on my size, ethnicity, or anything else. And a lot of people successfully lose weight every single day, its not easy, but most worthwhile things aren’t!
