I went to see "The Fault in our Stars" on Monday - an amazing film. Terminal cancer in teenagers is a tricky subject, but a story that had to be told. It was done with sensitivity and wit, and serves to remind us all that cancer sufferers are more than just the disease. They have all the same needs and desires as anyone else, and deserve as normal a life as possible.

Watch it if you feel up to it, but beware - it raises issues. And needs tissues.

Hi, just lost my husband of 33 yrs to cancer. My emotions are all over the place. Thought about see the movie, thinking now it may be to much for me.

@lou99 I would wait til you have healed more.

Hi Tony, couldn't find your comment on the other post, regarding being a UK based Hodgkin's stage 3 survivor with precautionary radiation too. How long out of treatment are you? Hope you are well!

I read this book too by the way, definitely required the Kleenex at hand. Nadia :)

@nadyezhdam Ooh, 12 years since treatment finished, with no recurrence.
