Ideas on How To De-Stress

What do you do to "de-stress"? What helps you get those nasty negative thoughts out of your mind? I know all of us do a lot of worrying....let's share some tips!!

*Go for a walk outside (just 5 minutes of sunshine a day is GREAT for you)
*stay as active as possible...don't lounge around all day (I am guilty of this)
*spend as much time with family and friends as possible...the laughter will clear your mind
*pray- I pray every morning. It's amazing the statistics I've read...praying and/or meditating have had HUGE effects on patients health vs. those who don't take the time to. (not trying to pressure religion on anyone)
*read inspiring stories. I recommend:
Chicken Soup for the Surviving Soul and SQuire Rushnell's "God Wink" books.

I say this passage from the Bible every day....it's on a stone cross my friends gave me:

Jeremiah 29:11

"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord. Plans to PROSPER you, and NOT harm you. Plans to give you HOPE and a FUTURE."
