If I have a facebook account, and I liked this site... I see my pic below.... are my comments linked to my actual facebook account? who can read this? does this go out on the internet?

how private r our posts? does my code name here, link to my facebook because i see my pic..... of course with my name, and want to know what gets posted where and how much these comments go and where do they go besides here? can they be googled? i was on a site, daily strength... i popped my name in and found my actual quotes released on the world wide web!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so, how sensored do we need to b to have anonymity? thanks will my quotes or posts link to facebook???

idk I sure hope not!! won't 'like' the see us on facebook-I'm not that computer savy but if I were you I'd close this account and maybe start it under a different name? are you talking about what comments you see when you look up this site? anybody looking up this site can see the posts but can't post or comment.most usernames are just that-so unless someone knows you as the toothy fish-I wouldn't worry. As per your photo-I put my dog on there and you could probably go back and change your profile pic.I hope someone more knowledgable answers you but this is what little I know

The only thing that should happen is that under your FB profile in your 'activities', it should list supportgroups.com. Supportgroups.com does have a feed that should appear in your news feed but the material doesn't come from user posts. to that end, your own posts shouldn't be showing up anywhere on FB unless you posted them yourself.

"For example, I just tried to trace you from this site to facebook with only what's at hand and I couldn't do it." I have no idea what your name is or how to find your FB page. only people who have access to your info page can find out that you've 'liked' this site. in short your profiles are separate. I'm not sure what you mean by finding your exact quote on dailystrength.com.

And for the record, I tried to google the sentence I put in quotes, ("For example, I just tried to trace you from this site to facebook with only what's at hand and I couldn't do it") and google didn't find it.

thanx ross- this sets my mind at ease -I've often worried about anonymity here-just because you're paranoid.....and btw-I'm gonna 'like' ok now I see what you mean..hhmm I don't want my face here-now I gotta change my facebook pic :(
