Concerning this topic mostly I feel foolish. I knew something was different from the start. I even said how crazy quickly our relationship evolved from just being friends who talk to each other to so much more. In the space of three months. I know what love bombing is. I have know it for about twenty years, but I have never experienced it before about a year ago. Now I know first hand what love bombing feels like, and if anyone tries to do it me ever again I'm out the door. Lessons learned.

@AugWrath don’t feel foolish if you’re a fool we are all right there with you! They are master con men and we wanted it to be real. Lesson learned though and won’t happen again.

there is a reason it happened to us. A hard lesson to learn, a painful one, but hopefully coming from that place, it will take us all to a better one....Hugs to all who suffered at the hands of a narc

I ignored all the signs of a terror relationship developing (love does that); and ignored advice from one of her best friends not to marry her. Oh well.
