Welcome to SupportGroups. Your wife needs an intervention, she will also possibly need, at a minimum, to detox w/a professional or rehab facility, depending on how long she's been self medication. Has she ever been to individual counseling if affordable? One can't just stop some of these types of powerful meds without assistant.

I do have to say , the wife was on saboxon for 2 weeks and I seen a glimpse of the woman , I married My prayers get me to sleep at night . I'm just worried about the persons health . Can I commit her to a detox facility . Do I have to get real with this and risk hatred from her , I don't want to enable her . Any info helps , I am alone in this misery right now .. But the sun will rise tommorow
@wilbethere - Would be wise to research facilities in your area, if you can’t find any, check w/local general MD or hospitals. She may also need individual counseling to get to the bottom of the real issues. DrPhil.com has some information/resources to consider looking at for starters. Shes possibly placing kids in harms way too IF she’s driving them to school functions under the influences.
