I'm concerned about what happened to Lindsay91. I'm not clear on what happened, but before she left and deleted her account she said that someone from here had crossed a line, knocked on her door, and got involved with her children somehow.
I think that the thread is deleted, but does anyone know what happened?
Weird.... I wonder if someone she knew was on here? Maybe her SO?
@Jenn7814 I don’t know. She’s definitely gone. We were supporters for each other, but she’s disappeared. It didn’t sound as if her husband found her on here - more like someone really crossed a line. I guess that’s the danger of sites like these!
I remember reading her stuff. I saw she had a "first of all..." comment this morning but I did not read it.
I wonder if she got kicked off? Did anyone read any thing that wasn't appropriate?
@Jenn7814 From her last message it seemed very clear that she was deleting her account. She said someone here crossed a line and she was done with this place. I informed management.
I did talk with her in her posts, a bit, and she really didn’t seem like the sort of person who’d behave inappropriately here. But her icon was of a pretty girl - I assume it was her - and you know that some people can be creepy.
Yes. .. I agree and every once and a while there is someone who shouldn't be here. Hopefully she will find her way back if one person frustrated her.

@Deepti It would be good if the site could also take steps to see if someone is crossing a line. I’m pretty sure that if someone contacted her in person, that shouldn’t be happening!

This is a good example of why we all need to practice internet safety. You never know who's on the other end of an online conversation. Don't share personal information unless you have proof that the person is who they say they are. Don't take communication outside of SG unless you know 100% who you are talking to. Things like that do happen: people don't think and post identifying information, unknowingly leading a predator to their doorstep. Especially when children are involved, be safe and be smart.
Hi InMyDreams, I am new to this site and I don't know Lindsay so I can't add any info to what happened, but just wanted to say how much I appreciate your concern that something ad might have happened to her. It goes to show that this site has good people who genuinely care for each other. That's lovely, especially on a support site like this. :) Sending hugs your way. xx
