IM new to this asthma thing

i cant breathe today so i guess i need to do my inhaler thing

@RONTUYes, you need to use it when you can’t breath. If it doesn’t help, you may end up having to go to the ER. How long has it been since you was diagnosed with it? Do you have other meds besides just an inhaler?

1 year. I have a rescue inhaler and a regular one.

@RONTUBy a regular one, do you mean a nebulizer? I have been having to use mine about every two hours. On good days I just use it twice. I wasn’t born with asthma, either. It tore me up when everything changed. Mine got so uncontrollable that I ended up on disability. I am 59 and I have had it for about 15 years now. I hope you don’t go through boughts of depression, but it can happen when your lifestyle changes. If you start noticing problems, don’t hesitate to tell your doctor.
