A big group of my friends and I got together yesterday and had an extensive conversation regarding dating. Each and every person at the table is single without a relationship in sight. We came to the conclusion that there is a singles epidemic and we were trying to figure out why.
Does anyone else feel this way? If so, why do you think this is....
i don't know about an epidemic, but i don't see anyone in my near future. My brother feels the same way. I see couple everywhere i go, and i feel like i'm the only single person out here! of course thats not true but it sure feels like it.
I think that there is alot of people out there that do not want to commit to a relationship for various reasons. I think its a shame that our society has gotten to that point. i wish in a way that i grew up in my grandparents time where people courted and then married. it seems that it was a simpler time.
Hi Heather! I think that most people feel like there's something better out there if their current date or relationship doesn't work out. Thus, relationships seem to be a lot more easily disposable these days. My male friends seem to be in no rush to be in a relationship, and my girlfriends seem to be serial dating without any one guy wanting to commit.
I am with you...I really wish that I dated in my parents time, where it seemed to simple, sweet, and genuine. I think that I have a problem with dating now because there are now all of these "rules", everyone seems to be analyzing and over-analyzing men. It really is exhausting. I wish that it was a lot more simple.
