Is there anybody on here going through treatment for Lyme disease? I seriously don't know anybody else. If you are going through treatment, do you find it hard to stick to the treatment when you are not seeing any progress? I do. Plus, I find it hard to take my pills everyday because of nausea. Anybody else in the same boat?
I am not in this group but I did want to say I can understand your reluctance to continue when it makes you feel sicker, but in this case I personally would, the long term effects of Lyme disease would scare me more. I would also look into homeopathic treatment as well as what course of treatment a Traditional Chinese Medicine doctor would recommend. Hugs!
Is the nausea from the medicine? I was on one antibiotic that if I did not eat within an hour of taking it, I'd get nauseous and throw up. If you are not seeing progress, talk to your doctor. I was on one med that had helped me in the past but wasn't doing anything anymore, and my doctor switched me to another med and I am doing great now.
I went to my doctor and she switched me off the antibiotics to a completely natural treatment. I am no longer dealing with nausea! Praise the Lord! :) I am also starting to see some forward progress again.
@kimberlyparsons I was taking Chinese herbs for a while after I was recovering from walking pneumonia but is wasn’t making me better (and I was kinda allergic to one of them)so now I take antibiotics that make me nauseous and and dizzy and make me lose my appetite and cause stomach pain.
Is the natural stuff working? (Just wondering:)
Yes, I am seeing small improvements with the natural protocol. The biggest bonus is me actually because able to eat things I wasn't able to eat on the antibiotics because of my nausea. I am a big foodie, so that was a blessing.
@kimberlyparsons I'm so HAPPY for you! I've felt like I was dying but can't die for 14+ years now. I have great hope in my new Dr of Chinese Medicine! Have no clue what he'll do with me if I don't have Lyme but I know he'll try to do everything he can. He LISTENS... and he asks DIRECT QUESTIONS having to do with the whole of me: spiritually, physically, emotionally, mentally.
Thanks! :)
I think there is a clinic in Arizona called Envita which specializes in treating Lyme disease. They may have more information for you.
@blujonny, Thanks for the contact link. My doc did an in-depth collection of physical tests and yep, I have Lyme Disease. He wants to take it slow at first to see how my overloaded liver will do. I'M PUMPED! I'm on my way to healing and IT IS SO WONDERFUL TO FINALLY HAVE A REAL DIAGNOSIS... TO FINALLY KNOW WHAT IS WRONG!
