It helps to remember that life is a journey not a destination. Too many people fall to depression because their lives don't turn out as they planned and their destination in not the one they wanted. they can also focus so much on the destination (the future), they forget to be mindful of what is going on now (in the present), thus losing a chance to enjoy the here and now.
