It's upsetting when the meds that might actually help with pain isn't sold in stores only online and it hurts so much to pee you do anything you can to not pee

I hear it helps when u urinate in water. Such as in the bathtub or buy one of those cyst baths from the drug store. I hope u feel better soon.

@TN1984 thanks, I’ve heard that to so I’ve been using a water bottle and pouring water on the area whenever I have to pee

what are you looking at?

There is a med designed for UTI that numbs the internal and external posts of the urinary tract but it's only online not in store. The doc prescribed norcos for pain but they don't do anything and I'm waiting for my herbal remedies to come that I ordered

Or pee in the shower.

Completely understand. My best advice is water water water! My first outbreak I didn't eat anything spicy or acidity....if I did I doubled my water intake. Seriously once I used the restroom I started drinking water again. It was the only thing that helped. And squirting cold water as I peed

@helpk my problem is I’m scared to drink water because the more water I drink the more often I have to pee and it brings me to tears when I have to pee because the pain is so much it hurts more interest to go to the bathroom and then it did when I was in labor

I'm trying vagicil and a med that numbs the urinary tract

Yin Care. It's an herbal wash. You can soak some on a cotton swab or some toilet paper and dab it on the affected area.
It's a lil pricey at ~$20 but it's worth it for any vaginal issues.

I cried many times. Worst two weeks ever but once it passes it passes and becomes part of the past.

My Dr prescribed me lignocaine gel. It was incredible relief, the first and only thing that stopped the agony when I had to pee and sit! I always keep a tube now in case I have a new outbreak

So when you pee do you have to have the tube and can you feel yourself pee ?

@_mukkiee No I put the gel on my sores a couple of times throughout the day and a bit before peeing

Does it hurt to pee every outbreak? Legit question, I just got this, this past month :/

Usually the first outbreak is the worst so even if it does hurt to pee in future outbreaks hopefully it will be less intense but I did read that you should drink a lot of water because it dilutes the urine which will make it less painful. My first outbreak was minor but it did hurt to pee and unfortunately I didn't know about any remedies to help with this but I've had some minor outbreaks since and it hasn't hurt to pee.

My gyno told me to not put any kind of cream or numbing agent on it during an outbreak. It can sting and burn to high heaven and back and make the healing process take that much longer. Go to your gyno for antivirals and pain meds. Trust me, I wouldn't be able to live like this without either medication.

You pour water at the same time.

I’m so late and I’m so sorry I hope everything is well with you. I’m sure you know now but just in case the more water the better. Pee more burns waaaay less

They would’ve hate me water, a birth squeegee, and itch cream were my best friends! The cream gave me so much relief from the constant burning feeling or just pain. For new readers my first outbreak was reaaaaaaally bad. I was soooo stress so I had back to back flare ups
