Ive been use pcp and cocaine . I want to quit but I don't know how.. I need help
Wow, that's a tough combination. I used to do quite a bit of cocaine years ago but not pcp. Cocaine was in reality very easy to quit. There's a point where everything is so crazy you just want to get off the hell ride. Once you do it's actually wonderful and you wonder what the heck you were doing jacking yourself up like that all the time. But these are harsh drugs and they cause troubles. Lot of chemicals and it causes terrible behavior.......all I can say is try your best to get off that ride. Be done with it. I hope you're ok......
@Harpua
Your last comment was pure genius! PCP AND cocaine-watchout-that is a bad combination to mess with. Find a meeting and TALK. You (Moproblem) will be amazed at how many people care about you and are willing to help-even after just meeting you for the first time.
I have huge regrets about our cocaine years......find joy in the softer things in life. And like j said, people.
@Harpua
Ditto on the regrets. I wasted too many years chasing “the ghost” and lost a lot of money in the process-and truthfully, after party after party the “fun” had disappeared and all that remained was the addiction. My friends…take the time to attend any meeting anywhere-you’ll be glad you did.
Thanks so much for the positive response.. I looking for help now like a 12 step.. Wish me luck
Hi Mo. Good to see you again. You go do that program, and live the way you deserve to. Yeah j it was a bad ride. A little fun, and a whole lot of bad. I may have even caused myself some health issues from it. This was both me and my wife when we were quite young. It wasted a whole lot of time....
Hey Harp My Man! You now have a good head on your shoulders...the kind others could benefit from. Great day today for me.....getting support from another on this site who cares and has the wisdom to keep my triggers from taking over whenever we communicate.
Hey harp im 3 day clean.. it not much but its a start right!!
@Moproblem good on you that is a great start
Morning j and mo! Hope you're having a good start to your day. Yeah, thanks.....but I still make my mistakes. I have a certain amount of insight and experience, but I have my things I need to change. I closed the book on cocaine years ago, but I still smoke pot, and will play with painkillers here and there. The bite of opiates in my opinion is the toughest of all. Unlike cocaine it's a comfortable place, and little by little it is so sneaky......and then you are stuck. The withdrawals off of that stuff is literally pure hell. Absolute horror.
Mo every day.....every hour! is a great victory. Hold your head up at every success. Smile at yourself. Someone once said to look in the mirror when you're clean and feeling great....smile and pat yourself on the back and say yeah! You bet I'm sober, and it rocks!
