Just came from a camping trip. Realized the importance of getting out once in a while. We give ourselves every reason not to get out and it is quite easy to stop doing things. I going to make a point of going out more and stop isolating myself. I was reverting into myself after the loss of my job, the loss of a daily routine and getting out was taken away from me. For a time off work is okay but that time can quickly start dragging on you after a while. I resolve to get out more not only for the social aspect but to help with the depression the job loss caused. It is an important aspect to treating the sadness the depression and/or loss caused. Another important aspect to recovery or coping with any condition is relating to other people and knowing you are alone in your struggles. That is why sites like these are so important. The internet is important for connecting people that could not otherwise. Important as well is to connect with people at a local level as best as possible too. Recovery or treating depression takes work, time and tears. The problems that caused the depression or similar condition can be complex, so keep working at it, keep searching at hopefully we can come to better times.

i agree with u a whole lot on what u have said in your post. I too suffer from depression and I have done a lot of research on my pc. it has helped me out a lot. I get out of the house the healing work does not happen over night it takes time months or even years to heal. I also have many projects that I am working on that keeps me busy all the time.
