You can buy tests but I believe its better to get tested at a clinic or some where that they will offer you help and support if you do come back positive. I got so much help from my health department its wonderful how much they cared they helped me with food with getting on section 8 in a matter a months not years like it usually takes, with gas vouchers, etc.
Fever.
Fatigue.
Swollen lymph nodes — often one of the first signs of HIV infection.
Diarrhea.
Weight loss.
Cough.
Shortness of breath.
Its different for everyone but those are the main symptoms.
@TaylorYeley thank you so much…i dont think i had those symptoms…i was diagnosed positive with hpv last feb…im just scared or paranoid if i got hiv too…im scared to get tested but i wanna be sure… 
I have all those symtoms but still negative at three month what is happening to me. HELP ME GUY. Let me share my story I had sex with my Ex gf three month ago I got gonorrhea, after gonorhea treated I have may strange symtoms in my body swelling node in groin, fatigue, white tongue. At week 8 I go for pcr DNA test negative, week 11 we went together with my EX for hiv antibody test negative all of us. Doctor told me that I must stop thinking of HIV because the girl is also negative. Guys life is hard to me am like am in prison without judgment. Now am losing weight. What do u think guys am negative??? Same 1 post this on wall
If your having symptoms and you test negative its not HIV because once you have symptoms you will test positive right away. Its most likely something else
Basically if you are having symptoms you will automatically be HIV positive ONLY IF YOU HAVE HIV. those symptoms are common for a lot more other health problems. So if you tested negative while having those symptoms, your negative. You should google what else causes those symptoms an get checked for what else you find. It may be just as simple as a common cold because those are also the same symptoms as one.
get tested for flu as well . lot of symptoms for initial HIV infection are like flu Symptoms. If you EX is NEG why do you think you have it ?
