Just Wondering about fatigue

So, I have had endo for a while now. Hormonal treatment worked for me for several years, then I lost my insurance and stopped taking BC about 2 yrs ago. I have been dealing with extreme fatigue ever since. I exercise to help with the issues that go with endo but then crash and fall asleep with in a hour of exercising. Some days I just keep falling asleep and can not control it. Any ideas about how to deal/ treat this fatigue.

tiffy, wow hun i'm so sorry. i don't have any personal experience with endo so i can't comment but, would'nt a call to your doctor be helpful. thanks for sharing about the fatigue and maybe someone else on the site may have some answers.

The doc is on it but we are unsure, I cut back on my food intake as I have gained like 20lbs. I the past 2 yrs we think that may be some of it but we are not sure. I run when I can about 3 mi when I am not too tired but that has been a real issue lately.

same with me hun, different illness but same type issues, try this, try that, sometimes even the best doctors are stumped by our illnesses, hoping you get a remedy real soon hun.

Tiffy, I have endo, but I don't have fatigue. I don't really know what to tell you, I wish I could help you and give you some advice on the fatigue. What stage is your endo in? I know endo is a bad painful disease. I hate that so many women has this. My heart goes out to them all because I know how bad it is, and my heart goes out to you. I'm sorry I can't give you any advice on the fatigue.

I have stage 1-2 endo not very sever at all. This was because I have stayed on top of it and used methods to slow down growth, I have been lucky in that b/c did work.

After going to see my regular doctor he diagnosed me with chronic stress and told me that I had gone into a hypoglycemic state. I kept gaining weight so I was restricting calories to lose weight, that meant my body started to shut down because I was not giving it the food it needed. He placed me on an SSRI that has drastically reduced my fatigue I still have tired days but they are getting better.

I'm glad it's getting better. When I had my surgery I was in stage 2, but I think I'm more like in stage 3 now, I don't know though. I took the lupron shots, and they didn't work, they just mest me up more. I'm glad b/c worked for you, because it never worked for me. I have been on so many different types.
