Landscape of fire,
Screams,
Blood,
Madness,
I stand,
Smiling.
The Armies of Hell itself,
As far as the eye can see,
Stand undulating,
A living vista,
Glaring at me.
Hell's general steps forth,
And with a giggle,
Practiced motion,
I lope off his head,
As a wave of fear,
Passes over the Damned,
The dead.
Their leader fallen,
They hesitate as I cry,
Time to show them Love,
Determination,
Courage,
As they one by one die.
My Katana honed,
Dripping,
Gleaming,
Free,
I lay waste to all,
That press in upon me.
From all sides they press in,
Devils,
Demons,
Horrors,
Everything Hell can send,
I cry out,
Bring it the f**k on,
Smiling on,
As I show them their end.
Death stands off to the side,
Having witnessed this battle before,
He will surely need more body bags,
Once I have evened the score.
Shaking his head,
Staring in wonder,
At the Love,
That is me,
He salutes my resolve,
As I set my soul free.

I particularly like 'Shaking his head, Staring in wonder', which reminds me of the power of Anglo-Saxon or Nordic verse.
