Last night was pretty bad I've never been so low I actually made an attempt to end it all. I was unsuccessful and when I woke up there wasn't a single person I could call and talk to or cry to or just be there and this still remains to be the truth, even now I'm still trying to deal with this alone when I honestly can't do it on my own....but what other choice do I have.
I am worried about your physical health. Are you able to go to the emergency room? I know it isn't what you want to do and it isn't fun but you tried to kill yourself and it's just by chance it didn't work. You need mental health care. You will feel alone there likely but you won't physically be alone. I'm sorry you are fighting this demon. Glad you are reaching out.
@CannotSeeTheWayOut Thank you for the concern I do plan on going to the hospital unfortunately it won’t be for a couple of days I understand that I might be there for a few days or so , so I just have a lot of things to handle before I go. I know it’s sad that even now I’m still not putting myself first but maybe one day that will change.
Hi @marcychaotic You won't be alone here very often, also maybe join the insomnia group for after hours support .There are many incredibly caring people here that will respond show are you now? I have to head home built will be back on later if you would like to chat
@rdpca1 Thank you I appreciate it.
.
@GoGoGorilla Im sorry I wouldn’t wish this on anyone but I’m happy someone understands so thank you.
@MarcyChaotic, mental health, aka mental hygiene, is just as important as dental hygiene and physical health. The depression you are dealing with sounds to be debilitating, and could ultimately cost you your life. You did the right thing by reaching out here, but you also need to find a therapist who is trained to help people who are struggling with depression. Have you tried meditating or reading self-help books? How about journaling? This was you can read your journal entry later and reflect on your thoughts. Sometimes forcing yourself to get out of the house to go for a walk, or go to a library, or even window shop, helps to keep your mind busy. You never know, maybe a door will open for you that you never thought would. This morning you were given a second chance at life. I know it may not feel that way right now, but you have been given a gift. Don't stop now. There are so many things out there left for you to do. Stay strong, and I advise you find a therapist asap who can help guide you through this dark time. Make time for mental hygiene just as you do your dental and body hygiene. It's just as important! Good luck to you and stay strong!!! Don't allow yourself to become a statistic. You can do this!
@LBGNJG Thank you!!
Talk to us. It might not solve all the problems but don't feel alone. I was where you are right now, a week back. Suffered two clots in my heart. I am still here. The people here helped and are still helping.
