Let's all remember that what we see it's not really our reality. Take it step by step, meet with your therapist if possible and discuss your issues so you can learn to cope with this illness. This doesn't have to be the end all be all. The goal is to be happy with ourselves, to feel whole.

@newcomer94 That’s for sure. I thought my body dysmorphia was better. But the other day I had a moment. And I realized holy cow. Like I don’t see myself clearly. It’s not really bad but it’s interesting. I see myself thinner when I look in the mirror directly. But when I see myself in a picture or a video I see something different.
I don’t recognize myself.

@LollyNews Absolutely, and this is normal. It’s a good thing that you can acknowledge who you are in the mirror though. Thats good news.
