Life after being diagnosed with gw. Is it still possible to have sex with out transmitting or is it going to be a bad situation?

I guess you need to have those warts removed first before engaging in sexual act because it would be painful for you. As to whether you can transmit the warts itself, I am also interested for answers.

From my understanding and research, once you remove the warts and your body fights off the infection, which could take two years though often less, the virus goes dormant. At that point I think it's still possible to transmit it, but really unlikely. You should still be upfront with any future partners. BUT people these days can be vaccinated against HPV type 6 and 11, which cause 90% of genital warts cases. If they're vaccinated, and that's the kind you have, I think they should be ok! I suggest you ask your doctor about all your concerns.
