I didn’t want to admit I’m addicted to shopping but I try to hide my shopping from my spouse, I buy on impulse even though I know it hurts him. I’ll run up debt, pay it off, then do it again. Maybe I’ll try the grayscale on my phone/ tablet. If I don’t see pretty pictures, I won’t be as tempted to buy!

Hi friend,
It takes a lot of courage to admit what you’re going through, and it’s great that you’re recognizing the patterns. Hiding it from your spouse must feel heavy, but being open and finding ways to work together might lighten that load. Trying the grayscale idea is a creative step! Maybe pairing that with some support—whether talking to your spouse or joining a group—can help break the cycle. You don’t have to face it alone. With love, SG
i think you need to go for counselling or support group in this area
