Losing Weight

Hi Everybody,

I am trying to loose the extra weight that I put on during the Christmas holiday. It has been my goal not to go back for any more seconds after any meal. However this has been hard for me. Good food is something that is really difficult for me to pass by. I try to take some walks down the road when I can to get some extra excercise.

Smaller portions and exercise combined should def help :)

First of all, you shouldn´t skip any mayor food (all the 4 of them). Try to eat sitting, use a smaller plate, eat a lot of vegetables, and do not bring with you the food (only put on your plate, what you have to eat, and the rest leave it, freeze it, etc). Do a lot of exercise (a lot does not mean excesive) it means, if you take the bus to go somewhere, get down from it a few blocks before. Use the stairs instead of the elevator. Thing like that.Drink 2 liters of water each day, it helps to metabolize food better and faster. hope it helps.

i think everyone is right, good old fashioned exercise and diet will help. Also to help with portion control you can try using a smaller plate at meals so that will automatically help control how much you are taking in. let us know how the weight loss plan is going!

Trick your mind since u know u will want seconds use a small plate puting less than serving size so u can have more...drink plenty of water and maybe add more veges

lgurl001 you are right about the water. lots of water is good for digestion and for eating smaller portions.
