I don't even like going out to places where there's good looking women anymore because I see my boyfriend constantly looking. I ask myself why is he with me if there is so much more out there. I don't have blonde hair or boobs so why is he with me. I feel confident until we're out and there are so many pretty women for him to see. I then feel like **** and ugly no matter what. I know it's normal for a man to look but I have a hard time with it. There's less for me to look at when it comes to men so the turn about is fair play doesn't work so much. Do other women feel the same? Do I need to work harder on dealing with it?
Coming from a men's perspective, I think what he is doing is very rude and disrespectful. I dont want to be crass but what if you started at a man's behind or crotch everytime one walked by while he was with you. How would he feel?
I just feel this is unacceptable.
I think when done beyond moderation, or done blatantly, it's disrespectful. But we guys are, by our late teens, absolutely conditioned to look at passing women. I think that often when it happens it happens like an involuntary muscle spasm. You've done it so many times for so long that undoing it is next to impossible.
With that in mind, reality sets in: if there are beautiful women walking around and from your perspective your boyfriend isn't seeing any of it, I'd have to wonder what the **** he's hiding.
Men look...it's normal. When you walk in a shopping mall you may not need a pair of fancy boots cause you already got one pair but if you happen to see one nice pair in the store window you will look at them right!. Same with men and looking at women. He does NOT do this because you're not pretty enough, or because he's not faithful, he does it because he's programmed this way. He looks and as soon as she's not in his vision anymore he forgot about her.
You on the other hand have an important insecurity problem. You need to work on your self-esteem, you need to feel like you are IT, you're beautiful, sexy and hot and act like you believe it!!
When I am with my boyfriend and he has a little look at a pretty woman I don't get mad, I play with it!, I tell him: 'pretty isn't she?'. or 'wow, nice @ss' or my favorite ' oh I would do her' ...lol, Gosh, that gets his mind off of her and right back on me...lol
