My boyfriend wants me to quit smoking and it's been so hard for me. I get cravings and irritated when I can't satisfy them. I use smoking as a way to cope with being stressed and it became a routine to me. I would go through a pack in two to three days, each time smoking more and more. The other night I smoked more than usual at once and actually had a "nicotine overdose." I was in so much pain and thought I had to go to the hospital but I started to feel better after I threw up. Since then I've been trying to quit but it's so hard. I just got paid and it's taking every fiber in my body not to go and buy a pack, even though financially I can't even really afford it.
Have you tried gum or patches?
@CKBlossom I havent, but my boyfriend mentioned it might be a good idea to try switching to one of those. Instead of buying cigarettes I might buy a pack of nic gum next time.
