My dad yelled at me for not knowing where the community bus I take was parked at and interrupting his housework to come pick me up. The bus started a new service today where it doesn't stop at exactly where your location/destination is but it parks a few streets away which I think definitely makes things harder. Today was my first day riding the bus in this new service and the bus has a map but the map doesn't even show a full map with all the intersections and streets clearly drawn out like it used to. It only gives a street name and a general location of where they will be picking you up which I think is a terrible design since I'm very bad at reading maps already and with no streets or intersections drawn out, it makes it so much more confusing. Does anyone have any tips on how to get better at this?
I'm sorry that does sound like a terrible map plan. Why do they always have to mess with a good thing? Is there any way to find more intricate info about the actual stops online /bus app?
If /when you do get on that bus again, start asking riders about the stops or any changes you should know about? Obviously don't give personal info out but what about asking the Driver as well?
@Littlesis7 I don’t think anything has come out yet since it’s still a fairly new service. I’ll ask the driver about it if I take the bus again. Thanks for the suggestions.
