My husband and I have been ttc for 3 and a half years now, with no success. Ive been to plenty of doctors and none of them will help me. Im feeling very discourages. It feels like I will never experienced motherhood. All my friends and bestfrends are on their second child. Which makes me feel like crap. I just don't know what to do anymore.

Hello Hopefulrose. I just joined the support group here. I can understand your pain. I just experienced a miscarriage and going for IVF and using an egg donor. The infertility journey is so hard. Have you considered IVF and a donor egg?

Well ivf. I never in my life got pregnant. To be honest I don't know whats wrong. Every doctor I go to isnt much help or they are rude

Hi there again. I am sorry the doctors have been insensitive. Judging by what you are saying, you have been to many doctors. Have you gone through all the possible testing to find out what is happening on a physical level? I'm a big believer in Eastern or alternative medicine in top of Western medicine. I have heard that there are things that can't be diagnosed with regular fertility doctors but might be able to be revealed through a holistic practitioner. Have you considered that perspective?

Everytime I ask for them to run test the just tell me because im in my early 20s to just use a ovulation calendar and track my period. Ive been doing that! Its so frustrating. When I ask them to run tests they just tell me that. And I have been considering seeing a herbalist

Wow you are only in your 20s. That shocks me that they wouldn't consider running tests. What part of the world/country are you in? I have gone to Shady Grove fertility in MD for my testing. I am 39 . So, they might have treated me differently back in my 20s, but not sure. I would keep seeking about a doctor who will take you seriously.

I live in Philadelphia Pa and I tried shady grove but they didnt take my insurance. I would believe also because of my age they would.

wow quite surprising. Keep contacting doctors. Just because you are young doesn't mean you shouldn't be heard. Do you have any symptoms that might not seem related to your fertility health that might need addressed? I know sometimes thyroid problems or other issues that affect hormone balance can sometimes cause infertility. You might have an issue that is so simple to treat. You got to find a doctor that will do hormone level check on you along with a sonogram of your uterus and tubes. I know when I was in my 20s (before I had kids) I had painful periods and times when I wouldn't have a period. I know that is probably not what you have going on but there is something that is not balanced within your body or you need further testing and I would keep looking for a doctor who will listen to you. It surprises me that Shady Grove wouldn't work with you. Did you check to see if your prescreening testing like blood work would be covered with your insurance? i know I had no insurance last year in November when I did the prescreening but they did offer a discounted rate. They are quite reasonable if you have to pay out of pocket for the prescreening. I have had a lot of heartache myself. I lost a son when he was 6 to a neurological condition and then had several miscarriages. I do have a daughter but it's not my husband's biologically. Due to my age the doctor at Shady Grove said I would need to use an egg donor. Not saying you do, but there are options out there and you have to get to the root of the problem. Anyways keep looking for a doctor and don't give up. I am in Pittsburgh so not far from you. Anyways, let me know if you need help finding a doctor. I see Dr. Esposito at Shady Grove. :Perhaps you should inquire again with them. You have to be persistent with this fertility stuff. And also do seek out a holistic practitioner. Try looking up Natural Fertility Expert online. They are based in the UK but they work with people internationally and can communicate via Skype for any questions you may have before deciding if they might be able to help you. Money was a factor when I spoke with them but they seem to know the ins and outs of each part of a natural or assisted cycle with the herbs they use. Anyways message me if you need any help.

Ok thanks I really appreciate it. And I have seen a herbalist who said my symptoms seem thyroid related. I also have horrible periods along with bowel problems. And I hope u get threw your problems too. I will pray for you
