These are the tests i just took. My name is Jamie and i have mental illness. My life feels like a cycle or friends that have left me because of my condition. I live my life in silence because of discrimination and no one understanding what Mental Illness is. Everyday is hard for me as i pledge through hardcore depression, ii am always biting my nails and skin and also i tend to get stressed easily. I have rare outbreaks of happiness that overwhelms me. I get really scared and i do not know what to do around people now as i'm getting bored of the same thing as i know they will leave me in the end. Relationships with girls has ended on the same note, "i just can't take it anymore" and i am left back to square one. I have no social experience and mainly all my friends are stored online. I feel less anxious when i talk to people online as there is no emotion to it.

JamieU...... You sound a lot like me:( depression is a scary thing, but we have to stay strong. I myself have a hard time making friends just like you unless it's online. You just need to find somebody that accepts you for who you are and that can help you through the good and bad times. Trust me, there is someone out there for everyone:) you can always talk to me tho. I know I'm pretty young, but I love helping people. You're beautiful and special in your own way. Do you have any friends that support you and help you through your depression? I'm here4u:)

Depression is the most common factor for the beginning of mental imbalance, these problems are seems to be very much critical in many cases, it affecting the brain which influence the humans behavior like way of thinking and many others things, but in this case human must be need a support to share the feelings or to get read from depression, must concentrate in the diet and better to concern a psychologist.

Jamie, just reaching out is a good step!

First off, ignore Christian7787, depression is NOT an indicator for further mental illness.

Good news, depression IS treatable. Do you have access to health care? In many cases, depression comes from a chemical imbalance, and medications can help.

Counseling certainly helps.

But what helps most of all, I suspect, is knowing that you CAN come out on the other side. Many, many, many of us have been where you are. And it's horrible -- more horrible than anyone can understand if they haven't been there.

Please, keep talking to us, and talking to anyone you have there in real life that you can trust. Isolation is a huge symptom of depression, and it only makes it worse.

Also, as mundane as this sounds? Exercise helps. If you cannot do anything else, try to walk around the block. Or around two blocks.

thanks for the posts so far :) enjoy reading, pshycology i have tried 5 times and my questions havent been answered friends i dearly loved chosen have ending up giving up on me and i told them almost everything :(
