My mother was very abusive. She would call me horrible names and hit me. My parents fought all the time. Screamed and yelled and said horrible things to each other. My sisters and I grew up in that environment. Both my sisters married very controlling and abusive men. No one should have to live that way. I rather be alone then be emotionally and verbally abused.
