My pain makes me into someone I don't like sometimes. A lot of the time, actually. That is what upsets me the most, besides the horrible pain, of course.
my head pain made it difficult to do anything, let alone be nice. It was getting tough to do my job, thankfully my supervisor was able to help me out. It is still tough, but when my head is throbbing, I allow the pain to be there, but not take up space in my thoughts. kind of like "yes, pain, you exist...right now though I am going to be busy talking to my friend." for some reason the visualization really helped me refocus my pain
