ok i made this poem and i want to see what other people think
its called.. Survive The Inside
Is it real or is it fake
her mask of steel
her beauty her grace
But look beyond her mask
to see the girl that hides
she who's face is shy, full of pain
yet drained of self-esteem
her ego?
not a drop
Deppresed?
oh yes
with every steam of tears
a bomb of fear appears
When she smiles
Is she really smiling?
All of her life
has been what else other than lies
Will it end?
Don't judge a book by the cover
Read the inside first
Attention is all she wants
But to be
Loved for who she is
not
For who she wants not to be

just got out of really bad marriage, he hurt me a lot an destroyed my self esteem

Im very sorry to hear that. But the good hing is you got out of it and you are now ok. all you can do now is collect strength and self esteem thats what i keep telling myself. You are a good person do not let him strip you of that title you are brave to still be here and be able to say im in charge of me not you

i know i'm waiting for the day to love me again..its so hard when he tore me down so much, but i'm talking a to a councler..hopefully that helps

hon im amazed by the way u have written such a clear picture but do u know the most important thing about this poem it shows u are ready to move forward and create a life thats different
yes we all need to have our confidence boosted but we do it for ourselves cos we know the inner core is great and nothing can destroy it not friends who come and go over the years not a man who might not stay the distance but you do it for yourself

i am proud of u for writing about such a delicate subject
