My shoulder is in so much pain to the point to where I can't sleep...Jeez this sucks ..
Sorry to hear that! Is the pain from an injury or related to hypothyroidism or some other condition? I know how difficult it can be to sleep with pain. I hope you get some relief! (Hug)
@jimisgirl
It’s related to hypothyroidism…I think haha
Thanks (Hug)
Hey Jimisgirl I too get pain in my shoulder and that's an indication that my level is off. When I get the right dose all my aches and pains go away. Check it out.
I am new to this group. I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism last month. My TSH was 14.4. I am taking 125 levothyrox. The muscle pain goes away when your level gets right?
Yes, it truly does! It's only been four weeks, give it some time. Does it feel better than before? Or did it start hurting after taking the levo? I think sometimes when we start levo (this is just me thinking too much) that it sends signals throughout our body and wakes up all of our nerve endings :-) My TSH was 8.2 in early June (should pain included) last check it was done to 4.8 two weeks later and my pain was gone. Hope this gives you encouragement. How are you feeling right now - better than before starting Levo right? I've been hypothyroid for the past since 2008 and I do notice that i feel super as long as my TSH stays under two but really great when it gets closer to 1.5. Make sure you get all of your lab results so that you can identify when you feel your best so that you and your Doctor can work towards that goal together. Please, if you need any encouragement, let me know. That's what I am here for.
