Pathological narcissism is a life-long pattern of traits and behaviours which signify infatuation and obsession with one's self to the exclusion of all others and the egotistic and ruthless pursuit of one's gratification, dominance and ambition.

> is there hope for someone with NPD? can they really be detected early in a relationship?
how amazingly destructive this seems to be and im just now becoming fully aware of it...

how many of us have crossed paths with someone with NPD and never knew...

we have all met the NPD people in our lives to some extent, its normally those at high school who have an admiring crowd following them or the exclusive beautiful people group.

for others its being told as a child they are "cute" "georgous" and gettin away with things because they are "so little" "cute" etc

most people do tend to round out personalities eventually although the NPD never fades, we all know that person who is late and makes an enterance to parties, those who trade on friends/aquaintances just because of the way they look/think/feel.

its interesting to watch a NPD in action if we could bottle it how much better would the world be?

great post

as always

loving thoughts and positive vibes

Take care.
