I am 28 years old, 29 next month. I am about 140lbs and am looking to lose about 15 to 20, maybe 25 pounds. Yeah I know it doesn't sound like I need to lose a lot but I am only 5 foot 3 inches tall. I am still the "skinny" person in the office. Yeah well I am also the youngest by about 15-20 years. So anyway, I have been exercising at least every other day about 30-40 minutes each time. I try to do more if I have time. I think my biggest problem is food. I always want to eat and I need to work on that. I have a mostly-desk job. I do all of the physical activity that is needed in my office though. That's about all I can think of at the moment. Any support is genuinely appreciated. Bye for now.
Hi LainieGurl, I think that it's so fantastic that you are exercising 30-40 minutes every other day, though your eating is very key if you want to lose weight and maintain it. What finally helped me lose weight and maintain it is creating a lifestyle where I eat smaller healthy meals more frequently throughout the day made up of protein, veggies, and fruits. And, I exercise 3-4 times/week; 30-40 minutes of cardio and 15-20 minutes of strength training. I don't believe in fad diets and I don't over-do the work-outs; I always mix them up and keep them interesting so that I keep my body guessing. I hope that this helps a bit. Let me know if you have any questions.
