Hi there! Im new here, I have been looking for people I could talk to.... I have been dealing with not only endometriosis but also poly cystic ovarian syndrome. I was diagnosed with endo in 2002, and the pcos in 2008. I have had 4 surgeries and done the lupron 3 times (6 months each time) I know some people would say its bad to put your business out there, but I am struggling in my marriage, as my husband is angry when I turn him down for sex, in the last year I had an IUD put in to stop my periods, but that doesnt stop the pain. I dont know how else I can get him to understand that sex hurts, when I do give in, I end up bed ridden for 3 days. At this point the Dr's dont know what else to do than treat the pain with pain pills. I am struggling so hard with this and I just need to talk to people who understand what I am going through....
He should see your doctor, because he needs to be informed about the situation, the reality and also, he needs to show understanding and compassion. When we get married, the priest of rabbi say: you take this person through better or worse, through sickness or health and etc.., he needs to remember this. You have to take care of yourself, because when you get stressed, the pain gets worse. Wishing you health and happiness. God bless you.
