Hi - I am new to your site. Looking forward to meeting all of you and getting lots of info on MS.

I was finally dx in Dec 2009 but have had MS since 1982.

Thanks for your reply. I am not real good at keeping up so please be patient with me. I do have cognitive issues I deal with. I can’t wait to ge to know all of you and participate in the group.

I'm not good at keeping up either but nice to meet u. I too had symptoms a long time before being dx since 1994 dx 2001 its maddening not knowing what is going on with u. Hang in there look forward too chatting.

I need info. My dr. wants to check me for MS. Where do I find info about it? I do not want dye put in me for an MRI either. Not to mention, I'm claustrophobic. Any info would be appreciated.

You can find info about MS just type Multiple sclerosis in your search bar and tons of sites will come up. For dye being shot in you express your concerns to your DR or the tech that is going to do the MRI, I have had it done several times but I know they won't if you have an allergy to shell fish. I am claustrophobic also so I go for an open MRI if they do not have that they give me valium it works don't know how it is spelled though?
