New to the group

Greetings and salutations all. I have come to the conclusion that I have a caffeine addiction. Over the years I have actually managed to break the addiction myself once or twice, but only for a couple of weeks. My caffeine use goes up and up, then I dry myself out, and it starts all over again.

This time it is showing up with headaches and sleep disturbances. Thursday morning I slept in to 10:00 AM!!!!! I normally get up around 6:00 AM.

My work invovles testing firmware, so it is very involved at times. At first it starts out as an excuse to walk to the other side of the building and get a pop out of the machine. Diet Pepsi is my drink of choice.

The first choice I am making is to pick up a case of cans of Ginger ale. I pick that one for 2 choices: 1) it's decaffeinated, and 2) the healing powers of ginger.

any other suggestions?

greetings and salutations back at ya hun, what about water? or flavored water if you need something that has some taste to it. there may be others that can give you more choices or advise on their experiences with caffeine. keep posting and let us know how your doing hun
