Hey guys so I'm brand new at this, so if anyone can give me some pointer that would be awesome.
Anyway I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia when I was 18 and I'm still having a hard time with it, getting it under control, etc. So I was wondering what other people do that helps them. I'm just trying to stay upbeat and positive but this gets me down so much. Hopefully this support group can help.
here are some suggestions i dont know if you have tried them or not so here they are. ok i am into heat big time when i am in pain. have you tried a heating pad, taking a warm bath or shower, pain meds that are over the counter might be a good idea to take when doing all this. it usually takes about 30 minutes for it to get in your system so take it as soon as you have an attack. some people i know say cold weather makes it worse or change in weather. i would stay out of the cold as much as possible and if you have to go out bundle up real good. talking to your doctor would also be a good idea if he or she has put you on something and it isnt working. sometimes it takes awhile to find a med that works for you. also you could ask your doctor if they have any suggestions. this is just what i do when i have any kind of pain. i seek heat because heat seems to ease the pain.
Did you have any doctor's opinion recently? It is good to seek different medical person for more on the holistic supplement area. Wishing you well and God bless you.
