Newly diagnosed with Lupus...not my only disease :(

I am sorry to hear that i have a lot of health ailments myself. I hope that you are able to get good treatment for it. I don't know that much about it but i believe it is an Autoimmune ailment. God bless you and maybe we can talk sometime. Life can be very challenging (at least for me) when you have a lot of physical ailments. People that don't have them do not always understand about it and sometimes i think it takes someone who also struggles with these ailments to understand and empathize. I think that Toni Braxton has Lupus. I hope you get some relief and feel better soon Hugs XXXX

@Veronica109 Thank you, I agree very much with you about how others who share the same types of ailments understand. I haven’t heard about Toni Braxton having Lupus, but I sure am going to see if I can find info. Yes, I would appreciate keeping in touch with you. xx
I just had a skin biopsy and Dr. said it came back with immune problems. I have an appt for blood work. I believe it may be lupus. If you don't mind me asking how did you get diagnosed?

@elhark I have never had a skin biopsy, though I am sure it would be positive even if not for Lupus. I also have Hashimoto’s, Hypothyroidism. I was diagnosed with that when I was 17 years old. I was tested, finally, for Lupus with Dilute Russell Viper Venom and it came back positive. My maternal Aunt also has Lupus. I believe I have had it pretty much all my childhood and it caused me to now have a fatal illness called Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension. I am on life sustaining infusion and Oxygen 24/7. Wish doctors found Lupus sooner, when I was young with nephritis and all the bad rashes. I was told that I was allergic to the sun, but all along it has been Lupus. I rarely get a rash across my nose, some on the apples of my cheeks. I get rashes terribly on my neck and arms. So many questions I have. Sorry you have Lupus.
