Nothing works!

Hi, so I am new to this whole online support group thing! I know that some people have it worse but my weight seriously takes a toll on my self confidence I used to have. Since I have entered college as a freshman I have gained 18 pounds. Some of my shirts don't fit the same. My shorts no longer fit comfortably around the waist. I've tried barely eating and I always binge eat because I am so hungry. I've tried working out and participating in sports multiple times a day and only eating salads. I lost like a pound in 2 weeks. I just don't know what to do and I am so tired of my self confidence being low! Help me please?! Tips, advice, how to get full from nothing? I just need some type of help and insight!

By the way, I have also tried making myself throw up and that was unsuccessful and have been recnetly considering Hydroxycut or something? Maybe some diet pills?

First of all you need to slowwwww down! Do you have an eating disorder? Maybe you should focus on loving the person you are rather than trying desperately trying to lose weight. Everyone gains the freshman 15. If you just concentrate on eating healthy and keeping active rather than the weight loss than you'll be much happier and healthier. If you work out you will gain a little weight due to gaining muscle mass. It really isn't the number you need to worry about because we gain and lose a couple pounds from day to day. A tip for weight loss..drink lots of water! sometimes we get hungry when we really are just thirsty. Cut out sodas and eat lots of small meals..like 6 a day..check out cooking books.
