I was wondering if anyone does this or something similar, well if I do an OCD thing that I don't want to do then i'll say things like this "I swear to god if I ever do that again then I'll kill myself, or I swear to god if I ever do that again I'll rape someone or other horendous things, normally bout people I love or care about, they are normally sexual and really messed up, I do this as an incentive for me not to do ocd stuff but ofcourse It doesn't help, well a lil but then I do the ocd stuff again. I never heard of anybody else doing this and sometimes fear that i'll go to hell or something
Hey yoshi348, no, you are not gonna go to hell for the "really messed up stuff"...you are just describing another form of OCD...OCD has different types, there are checking rituals, contamination obsessions, symmetry obsessions, order and arranging things...AND violent, sexual and religious obsessions like you describe!
It would be helpful to see a counselor/doctor, and learn what you can about your condition. I used to have a great book about OCD...i think i had checked it out from the library...
