Ok have to give some credit husband. A few weeks ago he gave me this jar. It is filled with compliments and things he loves about me. I read one a day. If I am struggling. .I read 2,or 3! When I got it, we had a busy week, then I struggled. ..so I just wanted to share the idea for anyone trying to help their spouse get through rough days.

Though I of course understand the rationale behind the jar of compliments in these circumstances ... I also see a great deal of merit for it even if there are no rough days to contend with.
I do not believe you can ever tell someone you love ... that you love them enough times and the reasons why. I am forever the romantic ... :)

I do agree with that! I often can't put into words how I feel about him, or my kids, I had to wait until a special occasion to hear how he loved me before. So to hear a way he loves me on a regular is amazing! I really hope he continues stuff like this, makes my day, month, half a year ;)

This is a great idea! I should get my hubby to do this for me. I struggle a lot when he is away with work.

@truffles_15 It really helps be remember that he is trying… him at work is hard… and we are no where near retirement age! lol!
This is in the infidelity section, so I'm guessing he once cheated? I'm new here and trying to catch up.

Jenn, this is so sweet! I feel like our husbands would have a lot to talk about, from what you have posted, they seem very similar. I got a jar like this 1 week after DDay. It still helps on bad days.

@calibrit that is awesome! He asks me almost daily what "so what did you get today? " so cute that he is still excited about it. I will be sad when they all run out, maybe he will fill it back up!
I wish that my husband would be as romantic. For him to get flowers for me is taking several several hints.

This is completely out of the norm for him. flowers.. probably have gotten them 5 times in 20 years. Normally I have to wait for birthday mothers day, stuff like that :) So this is a refreshing and exciting change for him to try to make me feel special on regualr days

Your lucky that your husband is making such an effort. I'm lucky if I ever get a hug let alone some flowers or anything else from my husband. I'm happy for you that he is trying, the other side isn't very fun.
